Ekanem Nseabasi

Nseabasi Ekanem, a tech-savvy Pharmacist and public health specialist, is the Programme Officer at the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria Foundation (PSNF). In this role, he offers excellent technical support to the organization towards the implementation of complex and effective projects such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation-supported E-Pharmacy4FP Project. In this project, Ekanem provides technical assistance in areas such as evidence-based advocacy and critical stakeholder engagement towards building enabling policies to support online access to Family Planning and other Primary Healthcare Products and services in Nigeria.

With impeccable leadership, organizational, analytical, and multi-cultural program management skills, Ekanem brings to the team accountability, diversity, innovation, and resilience with a sound understanding of program needs and strategic organizational growth. Additionally, he possesses several years of outstanding knowledge and technical experience in project management, private sector engagement, and health policy & system strengthening having previously served as the Regional Field Supervisor and later on as Country Data Consultant at IQVIA where he successfully supported a multi-country Antimicrobial Stewardship Project as well as an Essential Health Commodity Market Research. Ekanem holds a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Benin and a Master’s degree in public health from the University of Lagos. Finally, Ekanem also serves as an Advisory Board member (Advocacy and Finance) at the World Hepatitis Alliance.
